GES is pleased to be working on Ameriport CWA (Coastal Water Authority) Rail and Road Crossings. This involves the construction of two crossings to “bridge” current Ameriport to the future Ameriport Phase 2 development. Special testing for this project included performing radiography inspections on the 7, 48-inch diameter steel syphon pipes running downstream under the Ameriport Road crossing. The road crossing will serve as Ameriport Parkway extension and the rail crossing is an extension under Rail Logix. Structures generally consist of wingwalls and headwalls with underground drainage systems following the CWA canal. WGA was the civil engineer for this project.
