Park Air Medical Office Building

GES was selected to provide geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for this 3‐story, 62,000‐SF medical office building.

GES performed the geotechnical field investigation, including all drilling and logging. GES’ Geotechnical Engineering report provided recommendations for building pad earthwork, underreamed drilled piers, shallow spread footings, retaining structures, slab on grade and pavement construction.  

GES’ testing and inspection scope during construction includes foundation earthwork, public and private pavement, and utility earthwork, cast in place concrete, conventional and post‐tension concrete reinforcing, masonry, and structural steel inspections. Testing and inspection scope also included earthwork and concrete for an adjoining public roadway.

Park Air 59, a 111-acre mixed-use development at the northeast corner of U.S. 59 and Will Clayton Parkway in Humble. The project, announced in conjunction with a new medical building, is designed to include retail, restaurant, industrial and services.
